Easy MOMO(Dumpling) Soup Recipe!!

I love Momo Soup. It is the best thing for crazy weather like here in the Midwest. In the past, we usually used to eat leftover momos just by heating it again but now a days, I often prepare this recipe and has become one of favorite ways to treat leftover momos. This recipe is simple, fast and super-duper easy to make. So, here you go everyone, feel the heat by making this Dumpling Soup. Things you will need:

  • Leftover Momos (8-10)
  • Chicken Broth (5 cups)
  • Scallion (4-6 strands, finely chopped)
  • Onion (1 medium sized finely chopped)
  • Cilantro (1/2 cup, finely chopped)
  • Ginger-Garlic paste (1/2 table spoon)
  • Ginger-Garlic (finely sliced, 1 table spoon garlic and 1 table spoon ginger)
  • Schezwan Pepper (timur powder)(3 tea spoons)
  • Butter/Ghee (2 table spoons)
  • Carrots (1, finely sliced)
  • Sriracha Hot Sauce (1 table spoons)
  • Salt (according to taste)
  • Cumin-Coriander Powder (1 table spoon)
  • Spaghetti (2 cups, boiled)
  • Lime Juice (3 table spoons)
Directions:
  1. Heat butter/ghee in a deep dish and once butter is heated add ginger-garlic paste, salt, cumin-coriander powder and schezwan pepper. Stir and add chicken broth. 
  2. Let broth boil for 3-4 minutes.
  3. Turn off the heat and add momos and all of the remaining ingredients except Spaghetti. Cover and wait for 5 minutes before serving. Also, make sure to save little bit of vegetables for garnishing later.
  4. To serve, place Spaghetti first and add soup afterwards, garnish with remaining cilantro, scallion, carrot and garlic slices.
